Any Telecommuting Agreement established by the supervisor and employee in no way changes the basic terms and conditions of employment with MCCCD. All MCCCD employees, including telecommuters, are subject to MCCCD’s policies and procedures.

About the Telecommuting Policy Related to COVID-19
The Telecommuting Policy Related to COVID-19 sets the expectations and approval process for Maricopa Community Colleges' telecommuting practices during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
About the MCCCD Telecommuting Guidelines
The telecommuting reference guidelines are for purposes relevant to COVID-19. To review the expectations and compliance requirements, please review the MCCCD Telecommuting Guidelines.
About the Telecommuting Acknowledgement
The Telecommuting Acknowledgement is a document that can be used for remote work activities. The form may be found in the Employee Learn Center (ELC). In the ELC, search for telecommuting agreement.
All employees have been automatically enrolled in the Telecommuting Acknowledgement that addresses the required federal, state, and local policies, as well as, MCCCD Policies and Procedures. This link is available through the Employee Learn Center.
The following instructions provide access to the Telecommuting Acknowledgement:
- Log in with your MEID and password following this link: https://maricopa.learn.taleo.net/Page/7
- Click on the Teleworking Agreement
- Click the play button on the right side, and a new window/tab will open (check your pop-up blocker if nothing opens)
- Read the instructions and click next to submit the acknowledgment
- Once submitted, review your results to ensure all responses were recorded.
About the Telecommuting Agreement
The Telecommuting Agreement in a document that defines the employees schedule, responsibilities, and expectations during the period the employee is telecommuting. Each College/Site has defined their own Telecommuting Agreement and Process. The District Office has chosen to complete a Telecommuting Agreement only with the Telecommuting Acknowledgement included within it.
About the Use of Personally Owned Devices Guidelines
If you are using a personally-owned computing device (e.g., desktop, laptop, tablet, smart device) to connect to MCCCD resources or to use (read, create, update, delete) or store MCCCD data, there are guidelines and expectations that you should be aware of. The Colleges were automatically enrolled in the Telecommuting Acknowledgement through the ELC. Colleges may choose to incorporate the acknowledgement in their agreement or to complete the acknowledgement through the ELC as it stands.
The District Office has chosen to complete a Telecommuting Agreement only with the Telecommuting Acknowledgement included within it.​

The Center for Employee and Organizational Development (CEOD) has completed the training quick reference guides for Signing Documents Electronically and for Downloading Adobe Acrobat Pro at home. The guides can also be found in the Employee Learn Center under the Telecommuting > Additional Resources section.
