Pursuant to ARS §38-431.02, the Maricopa County Community College District hereby states that all notices and agendas of meetings of the Maricopa County Community College District Governing Board and any of its committees will be posted on the wall outside the Governing Board Room located on the second floor of the District Support Services Center at 2411 West 14th Street, Tempe, Arizona which is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. when summer hours are in effect, except legal holidays. Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting, and will include information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting.

Notice of Executive Session, Special Meeting, and Agenda Review of the Maricopa County Community College District Governing Board

The Maricopa Community Colleges provide access to higher education for diverse students and communities. We focus on learning through: University Transfer Education, General Education, Developmental Education, Workforce Development, Student Development Services, Continuing Education, Community Education, Civic Responsibility, and Global Engagement
Pursuant to ARS §38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the general public that the Maricopa County Community College District Governing Board will hold a Special Meeting and an Agenda Review open to the public, and an Executive Session, pursuant to §38-431.03 (A.1) and (A.3), on the 21st day of January, 2020. Board members will convene the Executive Session at 3:00 p.m., Special Meeting at 3:45 p.m., and Agenda Review at 4:00 p.m.
Items for discussion at Executive Session:
- Discussion or consideration of employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, or salaries, of a public officer, applicant, appointee or employee of any public body regarding the position of Interim Chancellor – Arizona Revised Statutes §38-431.03 (A.1)
- Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the attorney or attorneys of the public body regarding employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, or salaries of a public officer, appointee, applicant or employee as Interim Chancellor, including regarding the selection process and related matters Arizona Revised Statutes §38-431.03 (A.1) and (A.3)
The public body has provided the officer, appointee, or employee written notice of the executive session as is appropriate at least twenty-four hours for the officer, appointee or employee to determine whether the discussion or consideration should occur at a public meeting.

Pursuant to ARS §38-431.03 (A)(3), the Board may vote to convene in executive session, which will not be open to the public, for discussion or consultation for legal advice concerning any item on this agenda.
Non-Meeting Notice: Board members may also attend a dinner on this same date. Although a quorum of members may be present, no meeting will be held and no Board business will be discussed.
