Reporting Misconduct or a Student Concern

Policies

Various policies protect members of the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) and allow for reporting of misconduct, including but not limited to Administrative Regulations 2.3 , 2.5 , 2.8 , 5.1 , and ND-2 .

Below are links to the forms for reporting discrimination against a student, student conduct matters, concerns about a student, and any sexual misconduct/harassment matter. The online submissions are quickly routed to the appropriate campus and personnel while maintaining a high level of confidentiality

How to Report an Issue

Maricopa County Community College District offers an online system to report allegations of sexual misconduct, discrimination against students, and student code of conduct violations. This online system is also used to report needs such as food insecurity, housing, transportation, finances, academic tutoring, and counseling services.  The online submissions are quickly routed to the appropriate campus and personnel while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

  • S-6 Instructional Grievance : When a student feels they have been treated unfairly or unjustly by a faculty member (full-time or part-time) with regard to an academic process such as grading, testing or assignments. This process should not be utilized when a student feels they have experienced discrimination.
  • S-8 Non-Instructional Complaint Resolution : When a student feels they have been treated unfairly or unjustly by any employee with regard to a non-instructional process such as a student or an administrative service. Should not be utilized for grade disputes or when a student feels they have experienced discrimination.
