Reporting a Student of Concern, or a Student Conduct and/or Code Violation

The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) offers support to victims of sexual harassment, sexual violence, relationship violence, and stalking through administrative investigations and criminal investigations. MCCCD presumes the Respondent is not responsible for the reported misconduct unless and until the evidence supports a different determination.

MCCCD Public Safety, in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies, works to conduct criminal investigations into allegations of sexual harassment, sexual violence, relationship violence, and stalking using criminal codes as the backdrop for the investigations.

Title IX/504 Coordinators and investigators use district policy to resolve complaints regarding alleged policy violations.

The two offices work in parallel and do not combine investigations.
