Non-Discrimination Statement

Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is an EEO institution and does not discriminate, or tolerate discrimination, against any applicant, employee, or student on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship status (including document abuse), age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status or genetic information. A lack of English language skills is not a barrier to admission into Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs or skill centers.

MCCCD will publish this non-discrimination statement in accordance with Non-Discrimination Appendix ND-3.

Employee Discrimination Complaints

Student Discrimination Complaints 

If you believe you have been discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship status (including document abuse), age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status or genetic information during your enrollment please contact the appropriate EO/Title IX Regional Program Director for your college listed below or file a complaint.

Title IX Complaints – Students and Employees

The Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy of MCCCD is to provide an educational, employment, and business environment free of sexual violence, unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct or communications constituting sexual harassment as prohibited by state and federal law. Incidents should be reported to the Title IX/Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Discrimination against pregnant and parenting students is also prohibited under Title IX. If you believe you have experienced sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, discrimination on the basis of sex, or retaliation during your employment or enrollment, please review the Title IX Policy and Resources. The EO/Title IX Program Directors accept reports of discrimination and misconduct, and process them pursuant to our policies. You may file a Title IX complaint here or contact the appropriate EO/Title IX Regional Program Director for your college.
