Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act (AR 2.4.15) and Registered Sex Offender Notification Procedure (Appendix S-18)
Per Office of General Counsel, to be in compliance with the requirements of the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act of 2000 (CSCPA), Administrative Regulation 2.4.15 Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act and Appendix S-18 Registered Sex Offender Notification Procedure has been adopted.   The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act of 2000 (CSCPA),  enacted provisions designed to more specifically ensure that members of campus communities have information available concerning the presence of registered sex offenders as employees or students of the institution (ADOPTED by Direct Chancellor Approval, March 6, 2019).

Appendix S-7 Withdrawal Procedures (Appendix S-7)
An amendment was made to Appendix S-7 Withdrawal Procedures.  The purpose of the amendment is to clarify that faculty can issue a W or Y at any point in the semester.  The amendment seeks to allow faculty to issue a W or Y to the student's academic standing (AMENDED through the Administrative Regulation approval process, December 12, 2018).  

Tuition and Fees Policy (AR 2.2.9)
A technical change to a title that appears in the common pages under regulation 2.2.9. The purpose of the change is to match the actual wording reference that appears in the regulation with the title of the corresponding appendix, S-3 Concurrent Enrollment in Arizona Public Institutions of Higher Education (AMENDED by Direct Chancellor Approval, November 21, 2018). 

Refund Policy (AR 2.2.10)
The registration processing fee is non-refundable. All other tuition and course fees will continue to be refunded based upon the fee chart/schedule (AMENDED by Direct Chancellor Approval, October 5, 2018).

Criteria for Determining Residency (AR 2.2.2)
The Veterans Council proposed an amendment that was made to comply with a change made to A.R.S§ 15-1802 (AMENDED by Direct Chancellor Approval, September 17, 2018).  Arizona Department of Veterans' Services (the Arizona State Approving Agency) has requested that an update be made to include a registered trademark and trademark statement after the use of the phrase GI Bill® Please also include the following statement on the same page: “GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.”  (AMENDED by Direct Chancellor Approval, March 6, 2019).

Veterans Services (AR 2.9)

Transfer Credit and Prior Learning Assessment Policy (AR 2.2.4)
Amendment to the Prior Learning Assessment Credit section which is now called Transfer Credit and Prior Learning Assessment Policy  (AMENDED by Direct Approval by the Provost, May 8, 2018).

Transfer Credit and Prior Learning Assessment Policy (AR 2.2.4)
Deletion of Section H. Health Care Credit by Examination and Credit By Skills Demonstration Assessment.  The rationale for the deletion is that the ICAN program no longer exists, all credit by evaluation is done at the individual campuses (AMENDED by Direct Approval by the Chancellor, August 10, 2018).

Grading (AR 2.3.3)
Amendment to Repeating a Course/Improving a Grade. The impact of the amendment will allow students the opportunity to improve their GPA by re-taking a class in which they previously received a Y.  The opportunity will not be retroactive but will begin with the implementation of the 2018-2019 Common Pages (AMENDED by Direct Chancellor Approval, June 4, 2018)
